At LUMOS7 PILATES we offer private training, duet training, group classes, and private classes. We strive to give every client a safe, personalized, and highly effective Pilates experience. Our classes are based on molding Joseph's original methods with science backed exercises designed to fit the needs of our current lifestyles.

Group Classes at the Studio

Where do I start?

Whether you want to take privates, duets, or work up to group equipment classes - all new clients start with privates, or can take mat classes. We are not currently offering entry level equipment classes. Our current special for new clients is 3 privates for $175. Email us to sign up!

Pilates Mat

Pilates mat is for anyone comfortable getting on and off the floor, doing squats, lunges and holding a plank, and performing all the spinal movements included in Pilates repertoire. May or may not use a variety of props such as foam rollers, bands, small balls etc..

Dig Deep

This class is for any client cleared to attend apparatus classes at Lumos7. You will move at a slow controlled pace in order to feel the exercises at a much deeper level. This class will make you work, shake, and feel things with extra emphasis on form. You could use any piece of equipment in this class but will avoid risky standing or kneeling balance on the moving platform or extended periods of planking. In this slower class you will have more ah-ha moments!

Restore Pilates

This class is for any client cleared to attend apparatus classes at Lumos7. Use the equipment to move your body through assisted stretching on gentle massage. A little sore from a previous workout? Or are you looking for a relaxing class today? This is the class for you!

Multi-Level Reformer/Tower/Chair/Mixed Apparatus

This class is for clients cleared to attend Multi-level & Athletic classes at Lumos7. You should know how to set up your equipment, be able to stand and high kneel on a moving carriage, be able to hold a plank for an extended time on your knees or toes, bear weight on your wrists, and know your exercise modifications and be able to implement them on your own. You should also have a basic/fundamental understanding of Pilates principles and how to apply them to exercises.

Athletic Pilates

This class is for clients cleared to attend Multi-level & Athletic classes at Lumos7. Looking to add in low-impact cardio and feel a little more burn. A blend of Pilates and other types of fitness training that are performed while focusing on the Pilates Principles and proper alignment. These classes are high energy and could include a mix of Pilates Reformer/tower, chair, barre, functional strength training, low impact cardio on the equipment or on the Jumpboards.

In an athletic class we highly recommend that you do not have current injuries or injuries you are recovering from. You can expect minimal choreography, higher reps, multiple sets, and sweat!

Jumpboard Intervals

This class is for clients cleared to attend Multi-level & Athletic classes at Lumos7. Alternate between low impact intervals on the jumpboard and reformer pilates. This non-standing low impact jumping can increase your circulation and bone density, stimulate lymphatic draining, increase your flexibility, strengthen your core, feet/ankles/legs.

Pilates Circuit

This class is for clients cleared to attend Multi-level & Athletic classes at Lumos7. This class is 60 minutes (10 minutes longer than our other classes). The first 5 minutes may be spent explaining the exercises and the rotation for the class, so please do not be late to this class. This class is perfect for anyone that is comfortable with using multiple pieces of equipment in a class and understands the names of basic exercises on Tower, Jumpboard, Chair, & Reformer.

Intermediate Reformer/Tower

This class is for clients cleared to attend Intermediate classes. You will practice higher level Pilates exercises that spend a large portion of the class either in plank, balancing/standing on the reformer, and in inversions. Clients must have practiced intermediate exercises in an intermediate workshop or in privates and feel comfortable moving through these exercises at a faster pace and is not safe for anyone with injuries. Clients will first need to attend Multilevel classes or privates to ready themselves for Intermediate.

Private & Duet Lessons

Private and Duet training is open and recommended for all clients regardless of background, age, or goals. If you are someone that is looking to develop a deep understanding of Pilates and you want to experience the benefits of Pilates in a quick and effective manner, Pilates or Duets are for you. You will be guided through a 55 minute sessions to help you reach peak performance in all of your daily activities. We offer privates in-person only. To purchase and book please email us!
